Calender

Source:  Jasmine Dowling

All the Christmas decorations now safely packed away - It was back to the day job for both J and I. For me, as I work from home for a large chunk of the week this means converting a corner of our abode into a temporary office space. So - having avoided the desk for the past few days, it was only now that I realise we don't have a calender. In the spirit of getting organised (resolution II) I unearthed this free beauty by Jasmine Dowling - a typographer and student by trade. So - simply print each month on a sheet of recycled A4, secure using a bull dog clip and hey presto! Your temporary office looks more likely already. Thank's JD.

A Year of Ethical Fashion

Over at Meet Me At Mike's Pip Lincolne is pledging a year of ethical fashion. Considering 10 to 20 % of all textiles in the fashion industry are wasted* - this sounds like a plan to me. According to the Bureau of International Recycling, if everyone in the UK bought one reclaimed woolen garment each year, it would save an average of 1,686 million litres of water and 480 tons of chemical dye stuffs!
